About

Emily Bishop

As a transplant to the Salish Sea region, I'm passionate about learning every aspect of this beautiful place. I have a B.S. in Marine Biology from University of Rhode Island, and experience in marine research that spans from macroalgae and invasive crabs, to piscivorous birds and Pacific Salmon. I specialize in marine community ecology, and I'm currently a graduate student in the Marine Conservation and Ecology Group at the University of Washington.

My previous clients have included the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe, Northwest Straits Foundation,  Jefferson County Marine Resources Committee,  and Great Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, among others. If you'd like to collaborate, contact me here.
